Gilnahirk Tennis Club: About Us

Gilnahirk Tennis Club has been a significant feature of sporting life in East Belfast for the last fifty years. Situated in the grounds of Bloomfield School, the club has three floodlit, artificial grass courts and excellent clubhouse facilities. Tennis is an all year round affair with teams entered in nearly all the Belfast and District leagues. In addition to matches, club play takes place twice a week on Saturday afternoons and one weekday evening (click here for details).

The club has around forty active members and a strong Junior/Juvenile section. New members are always welcome. During the summer months club sessions are held for Juniors/Juveniles on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons respectfully. Coaching, for both juniors and seniors, can be arranged on request. A variety of social events are held throughout the year plus annual club tournaments.
